چکیده :

Pipelines are the most efficient, cost effective and environmentally friendly means of fluid transport. The advent of new techniques like that of Geographic Information System (GIS) has made the routing process of pipelines more systematic and effective .This work identifies the various factors which need to be considered while routing a pipeline in the National Iranian Gas Engineering & development Company. Manual pipeline routing with using GIS improved. A GIS to represent the various factors and automatically route the pipeline has been developed. But GIS is not used in company because the implementation cost is high. Since effective factors in gas pipeline route are not collected, we used the contracts models, geological information system in pipeline, experts opinion and paper study in this field to collect effective factor. A main drawback in the system is the lack of a structured methodology to derive the relative preferences of the different factors affecting the route .To address this issue, an FUZZY AHP based methodology was developed .The GIS and the FUZZY AHP methodology have been tested on special rout in the National Iranian Gas Engineering & development Company . The weights we got in this article got used in weighting step GIS. And the rout with use of weight was compared with the rout without use of weight in GIS and finally the rout analyzed.
