چکیده :

Introduction:Hospital infections are a major problem in modern medicine and common and important cause of morbidity, increased length of hospital stay, and increased hospital costs and impose health hazards and mortality are considered. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of nosocomial infection and microbial causes in hospitals in Iran. Materials & Methods:The scientific review article by searching on Google scholar, magiran, Sid, PubMed and iranmedex with keywords prevalence, nosocomial infection, causes of bacterial and infection during 1995 and 2015 was performed. Results:The results of several studies showed that the highest percentage of hospital infection in patients in orthopedic, ICU and kidney wards and lowest percentage was in the ear, nose and throat ward. The highest infection rate in patients admitted in March to 56.1% and the lowest in patients admitted in April to 0.8 percent. Most of the infections in the hospital related infections, urinary tract infections and respiratory infections and the rest is up to 33% of infections were next in line.The infection was spread through mobile phone between staff and in a study of the frequency and methods of cleaning the cell phone was correlated with ward staff. Discussion:Considering transmission via mobile phone, hand washing among hospital staff ignoring can cause be nosocomial infection. Early detection, continuous assessment of microorganisms and sanitation by employees, particularly in the orthopedic ward and intensive care and take the necessary measures to prevent the spread of nosocomial infections is recommended.
