چکیده :

Introduction:Hepatitis B is a serious disease that health care workers are at high risk of developing the disease. Titer of antibody 3 days after vaccination %79-90 has been reported. Over time, the antibody levels decline and age has an important effect on reduced response to vaccines. This study aimed to assess antibody level against hepatitis B in nursing staff in Iran. Materials & Methods:This review article by searching on Google scholar search engines and databases magiran, Sid, PubMed and iranmedex by keyword antibody levels of hepatitis B, vaccination against hepatitis B, nurses and hepatitis B surface antigen between 1990 and 2015 it is done. Results:The results showed 1.6 percent of personnel were HBSAg positive. It can be said about the safety of employees up to 69.3% of employees have complete coverage of hepatitis B vaccine. Between antibody level and gender, age and ward of the sample there are conflicting relations and there was no significant correlation with body mass index. As well as the distance between the last vaccination and the average level of immune response was not correlated.Among the nurses up to (69.8%) complete vaccination and up to (23.9%) are vaccinated and also up to (6.3%) were not vaccinated. Discussion:Considering that a large number of nurses in hospitals, had protective antibody levels measured HBs antibody level in the non-safety personnel and revaccination is recommended.
