چکیده :

Introduction: Snake Bites is one of the most important medical emergencies each year leads many people to treatment centers.Given the fact that snake bites can cause immediate death of their patients, Accurate knowledge of the subject and the necessary treatment methods. Therefore, this study aimed to Evaluation of prevalence, symptoms and causes of snakebite among the poisoned referred to the hospital. Materials & Methods: This scientific review sites with searching Google scholar, magiran, Mbais, Sid, PubMed and iranmedex with keywords snake bites, clinical symptoms, treatment, poisoning from 1998 to 2016 was conducted. Results: Studies show that the most frequent in the age group between 21-30 years and the lowest bites in the age group over 80 years. In 20 to 22 cases bite folk remedies before referral to hospital discharge was done as scarify and sucking. Most snake bites and stings were male and 65 cases had occurred in the hands and feet of the wrist down. The effects of snake venom poisoning were divided into two groups: local and systemic. Local toxic effects include swelling, necrosis and blisters, respectively.And systemic toxicity effects including blood poisoning, neurological toxicity, renal toxicity and toxicity for heart failure. Almost all cases of anti-venom, tetanus and tetanus vaccine received and all were under antibiotic treatment. A study of the adder bites a bird who revealed it seems apparent that both local and systemic complications resulting from a variety of of compounds in snake venom metalloproteinase and akaryn are included. Discussion: Despite the death of treatments which anti-venom in snake bites tetanus and tetanus vaccine could play an important role in the treatment of toxicity. Also using some traditional methods have failed to treat snake bites and snake bites considered necessary preventive measures are emphasized.
