چکیده :

The Aim: This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of deciding making- skills training on the reduction of stress among the male students in junior high school Materials and Methods: In order to study about the research hypotheses in the form of quasi-experimental trial, 40 students were replaced randomly in two experimental and control groups after stage cluster sampling. Both groups were examined by Sarason Test Anxiety Questionnaire in the pre-test and post-test. A training session was held for the experiment group and there was no intervention in the control group. Findings: the results of the study, using T-Test and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA), indicated that the training of decision making skills effects significantly on the reduction of students’ stress. Discussion: in decision making skill, the students learn how to decide right and rational. Training of these skills enables the student to change his knowledge and attitudes to the actual abilities. It means that a student knows what to do and how to do it. These skills can lead him to a better life.
