چکیده :

The objective of this study was to examine the relationship of distributed leadership with organizational performance in primary schools in Zahedan. Considering the type and method of collecting the data, the current study was respectively quantitative and descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all primary school teachers in Zahedan (N=2833). The sample constituted of 338 primary school teachers in Zahedan selected based on the Cochran’s formula. In the present study, due to the sub-groups, the stratified random sampling method was applied. To collect the required data, the Gholami et al. Distributed Leadership Scale (2014) and the Hersey and Goldsmith Organizational Performance Questionnaire (2009) were used. The reliability coefficients of the questionnaires on distributed leadership and organizational performance were respectively 0.91 and 0.87. The obtained data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. To statically analyze the data, the frequency, mean, and standard deviation were used and to examine the research variables, the onesample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and regression analysis were applied. According to the results obtained from this study, the levels of performance and its subscales and also the levels of distributed leadership and its subscales were all higher than the average; therefore, they had desirable statuses. Moreover, distributed leadership and organizational performance were significantly and directly correlated. The results of regression analysis indicated that among seven subscales of distributed leadership, full support and leadership behaviors were able to predict organizational performance.
