Nowadays, religious buildings allocate to themselves an important part of people's visits in our country and they are among the most visited buildings. Lorestan province is among provinces by high religious tourism potential. One of the most important ways of developing religious tourism is identification and evaluation of bio-climatic welfare potential of these areas. In this study, Becker's bio-climatic model among all of the climatic models in relation to human bio-climate was used to investigate the bio-climatic welfare of religious places of Lorestan province. Dominant air-temperature and wind velocity of four stations of Khorram Abad, Boroujerd, Aligoodarz, and Poledokhtar which are representations of four climatic area of Lorestan were chosen for this research because, these areas have also the most religious places in the said province.Results of this study showed that because of geographic width and different heights there is a different climatic welfare condition in Lorestan Province. These differences are so that Poledokhtar and Khorram Abad counties in the southern part of this province have climatic welfare in the cold seasons of the year and Aligoodarz and Boroujerd in the northern part of the province don’t have climatic welfare in the cold seasons of the year while they have climatic welfare in the warm seasons of the year.
