چکیده :

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between organizational health and knowledge management of staff in central headquarters of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. The research is an applicable, descriptive-correlation type. Statistical population of the research included 1210 staff in Mazandaran University Medical Sciences on 2014. There were selected 298 persons by using simple random sampling, in accordance Kerjsi-Morgan Table. Instruments of the research included two questionnaires: the first questionnaire was the researcher made knowledge management questionnaire included 45 questions in 5 components (including leadership, human resources, organizational culture, information technology, process) that each component contained 9 items. The second questionnaire was questionnaire of organizational health standard with 44 questions that was designed by Hui et al (1996) and translated by Alaghehband. The questionnaire includes seven dimensions of organizational health. It measures seven components: institutional coherence, manager influence, considerateness, building maintenance, resources’ support, morale and scientific emphasis (Alaghehband, 1999). There were used superficial and content justifiability and Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient to determine their justifiability and reliability respectively. There were calculated Alpha Coefficient for knowledge management and organizational health 0.83 and 0.89 respectively. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics as well as by helping LISREL analysis route and SPSS software. Results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between knowledge management and organizational health (r= 0.86). The relationship between the model variables (knowledge management, its dimensions and organizational health), which it was obtained by multivariate or regression analysis, demonstrated that effectiveness of cognitive knowledge management and its five dimensions on organizational health is significant, and knowledge management has a direct relationship with organizational health. In other words, organizational health will be improved averagely by improving knowledge management in organization. By improving each aspect of knowledge management, organizational health will be improved relatively.
