Human resources are important, valuable factors in firm productivity and development in every country. And it is an approach to acquire competition advantage. One of factor that prevents productivity is human resource absence and lateness. This paper survey decreasing in productivity with emphasis on human resource absence and lateness in one of production companies in Iran. This paper from object aspect is applicable and from method aspect is description. In this paper simple sampling was used and sample with 100 employees were selected. Research data evaluated with 2 methods: description and inferential analysis and research finding show that there are a meaningful relationship between lateness and absence factors (job situation, attendance in work, individual characteristic and attendance motive) and organization committal and finally decrease in productivity. Furthermore the result obtain from data analysis show that all of factors of absence and lateness, with confidence level of 99% have a meaningful and positive effect of organization commitment and decrease in productivity in this company. Based on research our findings, we conclude that, when employees are committed to addressing the factors which cause employees lateness and absence, employees have higher organisational commitment, and productivity increases.
