چکیده :

Objective:The aim of present study is to investigate the role of mother - child relationship and early maladaptive schemas in predicting psychological disorders in students. Method: the population of present study consisted of all students of Islamic Azad University of Ardabil, that were selected with Multistage random sampling method.At first, 500 Subjects Completed the Revised psychological symptoms (SCL - 90 - R) Questionnaire.Among of these subjects, 70 students with psychological disorders, were identified and the Young Schema and parent – child relationship Questionnaire were completed and studied. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression method (P <0.05). Results: The results of This study showed that there is negative significant assosiation between mother - child Interaction and maladaptive schemas, respectively with cut and rejection (-0.53) Schema, autonomy and Disrupted functional (-0.65), subordinate schema (-0.41) and Excessive Vigilance schema (-0.33). Conclusions: Overall, these results have important theoretical and practical implications in the field of child and adolescent psychopathology and suggest that the interaction between mothers- child as predisposing factor have a possible role in the formation of early maladaptive schemas in particular psychological disorders.
