Investigation the Relationship between Spiritual Leadership and Work Ethic among Academic Faculty Members of Urmia University

Present research is done to study the relationship between spiritual leadership and work ethic among academic faculty members. The method of research is descriptive-correlation. Statistical population includes 320 individuals of Urmia academic faculty members which have been chosen by random sampling method with content of 103 individuals as sample. Research tool is questionnaire that the reliability of Fry et al. s’ spiritual leadership questionnaire is 0.81 and Petty work ethic questionnaire reliability is 0.85 and is reported optimum. Data analysis is done by descriptive and inferential statistics. Most of results show that there is a relationship between spiritual leadership and its elements and work ethic among academic faculty members. Spiritual leadership provides suitable conditions and supports academic faculty members to attempt achieving the university's goals, needs and themselves goals, reveal their potential, and do right behaviors.
