In this article, we present a variant approach of the generalized and improved
EHTA to obtain some new One-soliton solutions and Two-soliton solutions to the
generalized dissipative AKNS equation. In addition, the soliton solutions we get are more
general than the solutions that the EHTA gets. Our method can also apply to other
generalized Nonlinear partial differential equations (GNPDEs) and can also get many new
soliton solutions.
