چکیده :

The purpose of the present research is to study the solutions for improvement of working conscience and social discipline and its relationship with employee productivity in public banks of Urmia County. By nature, this is an applied study. The statistical population is comprised of all 421 employees of public banks in Urmia. In order to determine the sample size, the Cochran formula is used and the sample size is determined to be 201. The sampling method is random. The required data is collected through field study and by distribution of questionnaires. The questionnaire’s reliability has been assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha; and the obtained Crobnach’s Alpha coefficients for the questionnaires are acceptable. The collected information regarding research hypotheses has been analyzed by descriptive statistics methods such as mean, frequency, and standard deviation, and then used in inferential statistics tests such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, simple linear regression, and Pearson’s correlation test. In the examination of the first to fourth hypotheses, the impact of the suggested solutions (attention to personal characteristics, nature and type of the job, material and moral motivation, and continuous general and special training) on improvement of working conscience and social discipline in employees of public banks is studied. In the end, the relationship between working conscience, social discipline, and productivity in public banks is investigated. Based on the results of simple linear regression and Pearson’s correlation test, all of the hypotheses are confirmed. Therefore, based on the results, the solutions studied in this research (attention to personal characteristics, nature and type of the job, material and moral motivation, continuous training, and employee evaluation) have an impact on improvement of working conscience and social discipline (p<0.05). Also, the results suggest that improvement of working conscience and social discipline has a positive and significant impact on organizational productivity (p<0.05).
