In recent years, utilisation of chitosan /tripoly phosphate nanoparticles as protein delivery vehicles have been considered. Effect of a variety of factors on characteristics of nanoparticles had been studied by many investigators. The objective of this study is to make change in fabrication process and to elucidate the influence of these parameters on the size and polydispersity. Nanoparticles produced by ionic gellation. Nanoparticles morphologies were shown by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) poly dispersity ranged in 0.18 to around 0.4 and measured hydrodynamic diameter ranged in 255 to 480 nm. Results of this study could be used for reaching a favorable size in the case of protein loaded chitosan nanoparticles.
