چکیده :

Conflict in university is a phenomenon drawing increasing attention on behalf of managers and staff. This article is the result of a study aimed at analyzing the sources of organizational conflict based on the attitudes and opinions of staff and managers working in the Islamic Azad University of Sanandaj branch in Iran. In the article, the descriptive -exploratory method was applied. The population was 521 official and nonofficial cial members of the Sanandaj University. 220 individuals were chosen as the sample. Reliability was approved through Cronbach alpha (0.87). Statistical methods were applied using the SPSS software. Results revealed that, between managers and staff, there were conflicts regarding incompatible goals, ambiguity and role conflict , ambiguous rules, inconsistent evaluation and reward systems, job stresses, and deficiency in the information system of the university.
