IT Diffusion in Developing and Developed ‎ Countries: A Conceptual Analytical Model

According to the literature, there is a paradox in IT results and significant difference between ‎developed and developing countries in the IT diffusion. Consequently, one of the most ‎important questions of development researchers is now what factors affecting the relation ‎between IT and national development in developed and developing countries. This paper ‎determines and classifies factors affecting the relation between IT diffusion and nations’ ‎performance in developed and developing countries. Moreover, in order to facilitate future ‎empirical studies on developed and developing countries, a general conceptual model, some ‎key potential research hypotheses, and a new calculation methodology are provided. ‎
