چکیده :

Assessing ground damage at or near foundation caused by liquefaction of soils at depth is a complex and challenging problem facing the geotechnical engineer. In this paper, the dynamic analyses were conducted as fully non-linear elasto -plastic coupled stress-flow analyses with coupled liquefaction triggering using the Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC) finite difference code. Layers were subjected to two destructive realistic events (Bam and Manjil ,Iran in 1990 and 2003) with similar PGA but various frequency contents and duration. This paper has presented a data set for liquefaction-associated settlement and deformation under structures and its effects that is based on numerical simulation. Based on the research findings, structures increase deformations-induced liquefaction particularly at the edges of the foundation in loose silty sand deposits toward free field and causing tipping.
