چکیده :

Considering the learners’ individual differences is important in language learning, however teachers mainly consider different learners (field dependent/ field independent) the same. On the other hand, foreign language learners typically ignore target language form in reading texts. This study investigates the effect of input enhancement on the achievement of grammatical knowledge of FD/I learners. In an experimental research design the students in both groups received reading comprehension texts, which were embedded with the boldfaced grammatical structures of this study, in a way that draws learners’ attention to the grammatical features. Finally both groups received a post test. Performing t-test showed that the p-value was lower than the level of significance and it was enough for the researchers to safely reject the null hypotheses.
