چکیده :

The purpose of the present research is to investigate the effect of managers’ moral intelligence on their communication skills in the social Welfare Organization of East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. In this research, the effect of managers’ moral intelligence and its dimension including integrity, responsibility, compassion, and forgiveness on their communication skills has been studied. The statistical population consists of 249 people including the top and middle managers of the insurance and medical care units of the organization under study. The sample size is 151 based on Cochran’s formula and stratified – random sampling. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire is content– based. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by using Cronbach’s alpha, which showed 0.838 for the questions on moral intelligence and 0.726 for the questions on communication skills. In order to test the research hypotheses, Pearson’s Test and two-variable regression were used. The results indicate that the managers’ moral intelligence and its four dimensions have an effect on their communication skills in the organization under study. In the present research
