In many real-world production planning problems, fuzzily imprecise and probabilistically
uncertain data may affect decision making. Here, a new mathematical programming model
incorporating both fuzziness and randomness simultaneously is developed. For our approach, we
consider real-life problems with uncertainty in production planning decisions. The proposed model is
to maximize total profit, considering production, outsourcing, and constraint associated with customer
satisfaction, demand, and holding inventory.
