چکیده :

The aim of standard assignment problem (AP) is to optimally resolve the problem of assigning n jobs to n individuals for obtaining minimum cost or maximum profit. However, in real applications, for each possible assignment several kinds of input resources are usually needed in an AP. Hence, a solution procedure based on data envelopment analysis (DEA) has been proposed in the literature for resolving the AP with multiple inputs and outputs for each possible assignment. This paper develops the existing approach using imprecise data represented by fuzzy sets. A fuzzy mathematical programming model for the extended fuzzy AP is proposed, which is then expressed as a fuzzy DEA model to determine the assignments with the maximum fuzzy efficiency.
