The growth of cities one of the phenomenon of the world is under the influence of factors environment, etc. human, economic, and political should and provide services to citizens and access to them, the facilities, the city of the priorities of the planners and managers of urban is In Urban morphology the city is studied as a collective human residence which has human made form and figure. Morphologists deal with analyzing the gradual evolution of city from early years of its formation till subsequent changes and during this investigation process different morphological elements are determined. In this view, the city is a collection and reflection of individual's and group's performance which isinfluenced and signified by cultural traditions and economic and political factors with definite structures during time. Morphologists explore the outcomes of those ideas and demands which can be applied and considered on the ground and they constitute the form, shape and skeleton of cities. Buildings, gardens, streets, parks and historical monuments are considered to be the main elements of urban morphology analysis. The present study investigates urban morphology schools including English, Italian and French schools. The aim of inspecting urban morphology schools is specifying their elements and features in determination of city form and shape. By using the above mentioned schools in urban morphology discussions we can examine the commonalities and differences; also, this study comprehensively presents the results obtained from comparison of morphology schools during different time periods and according to the type of urban morphology ideas and ideologies.
