چکیده :

Background: Increasing drug use and its harmful effects on youth, social responsibility of all persons to prevent these injuries require. One of strata due to the physical characteristics and the role of self-discipline can do this, play an important role and influence are women. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the prevalence of drug use among Iranian women in the last two decades. Methods: This review article by searching on Google scholar search engines and databases magiran, Sid, PubMed and iranmedex by keyword Prevalence, women, drugs, fetal and maternal complications between 1990 and 2015 it is done. Results: The results of different studies showed that drug use in females aged between 8.6 and 56 years. Opium and crack were the most common drugs. Between 6 and 7 percent of babies of these pregnancies had physical anomalies. Maternal drug addiction and child abuse, there was no significant association. Also, the mother's addiction and obvious physical defects at birth, history of family violence, physical and psychological abuses, there were significant correlations. The relationship between the lack of recreational facilities and unemployment were significant tendency towards addiction and sex. The results also showed that hope therapy education can be a significant reduction in the symptoms of depression in women addicted cause. CONCLUSIONS: Given that drug abuse has many negative consequences for both the mother the baby should be suitable bed in the family and the university be recreation and sports that can be prevented from growing trend of drug abuse, especially in women.
