Introduction: Continuing education methods are the optimization methods for personnel and the most important experimental education. Because employees gain enough experience and knowledge during work. Therefore, the aim of this study was evaluation of continuing education methods in laboratory technicians in Bushehr University of Medical Sciences. Methods: In this cross - sectional study, all personnel of medical diagnostic laboratories under the supervision of Bushehr University of Medical sciences, that participated in continuing education during 6 consecutive training course (162). Data collected through a two-part questionnaire containing demographic information about the assessment process and continuing education as well as doing pre-test and post test which were analyzed. Results: The age average was of 33.66 ± 6.88 years. 43.2% of male employees and 56.8% of them were women. 0.6% of personnel had MSc, 36.4% had BA, 59.3% had technician and 3.7% had diploma degree. There were significant difference between pretest and post test (p <0.05). There were significant difference between post test and review results from space of workshop, practical subjects and presentation (p <0.05). Conclusion: Workshop of continuing education of laboratory personnel was promoted their awareness and learning. To enhance the quality of continuing education programs should be selected practical subjects.
