Followers of equality of men and women rights has attempted to make lawful and establish this fact that man and woman have the same condition for marriage ties and marriage termination(including annulment or divorce) and in case of legal limitations, it belongs to both of them. As per Iran law, man and woman have equal right concerning marriage ties upon their intention and consent but there are differences between man and woman powers scope regarding marriage termination. In principle, according to Iran law, marriage termination intentionally is based on two cases: annulment or divorce. In this research, reasons of marriage termination and differences between man and woman and their powers scope for apply it is considered with regard to fundamentals of law.
