Pathology of Virtual Social Network Functions on the Cultural Values of the Girl Students in Payame Noor University, Najaf Abad Branch

Widespread welcome of social network offers an unparalleled opportunity to examine the effect of these networks on the various dimensions of the behavior and value of individuals and society. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of virtual social network functions on students' cultural values. This research is a descriptive survey. The sample size comprise 340 girls in the Payame Noor University, Najaf Abad branch in 1395. Data collection tool was a questionnaire using AMOS-18 software and in order to test the reliability the Cronbach's alpha coefficient using SPSS-18 software was used. The results of the research hypothesis test showed that the functions of virtual networks have a negative and direct relation to cultural values (with a calculated coefficient of -0.57) that are acceptable at a significance level. The results of the testing secondary hypotheses showed that the positive functions of virtual social networks have a positive and significant relationship with the cultural values (with a calculated coefficient of 0.27), also the negative functions of virtual social networks were negatively and significantly related to the cultural values (with a calculated path coefficient -0.84).
