چکیده :

Various port-related and port-development activities potentially affect environmental and human resources. Mainly intertidal shores with high environmental values and biodiversity are selected for building ports. Moreover, ports require the construction of deeper and more extensive channels and basins to deploy new equipment and installations so that they can provide the transportation and accommodate large ships. Moreover, these channels must be consecutively dredged, which will cause fundamental changes in the intertidal zone and the hinterland that must be protected because most of them are valuable. In this research, the Port Area was first identified for analyzing the environmental effects of dredging and filling operations, and sampling was carried out at seven stations once every month in the summer to determine sources of water and sediment pollution and to measure the total petroleum hydrocarbons. After comparing the samples with approved international standards, the polluted areas in the Port were identified.
