چکیده :

The issue of Iran and Israel can be explained in the context of the zero-sum game. In the sense that the existence of this regime is intolerable for Iran, and on the other hand, Israel considers Iran an existential threat due to its missile power and nuclear program and significant influence in the Islamic world. For this reason, it has acted against Iran's regional and international interests at various levels. In this way, the regime is taking advantage of the strategic potentials and capacities of the West, including the United States. In this regard, putting pressure to prevent the progress of Iran's nuclear program is the regime's security strategy. On the other hand, after the Borjam nuclear deal, it was promised that Iran's oil and financial sanctions would be lifted in exchange for restrictions on nuclear enrichment. This agreement also marks the consolidation of Iran as the hegemonic power of the region; an issue that the United States seemed to accept. But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called a nuclear-armed Iran the worst possible outcome in the current situation, and so the Gulf Arab states felt left out of the deal. This article examines the place of Iran's nuclear program in Israel's security doctrine.
